Ron Lewis was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to a Jewish family. He received Christ at the age of 18 while living in Greensboro, NC. Ron received his theological training at the Reformed Theological Seminary of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Orlando, Florida. His most recent book, Answering the Call, is an essential resource answering pertinent questions held by anyone contemplating a life of full-time ministry. Ron's first published book is Standing on the Word, and he was also a contributing author to Living the Second Mile Life, the last book project of the late Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ.
Ron's wife, Lynette Lewis, is an author, speaker, and corporate consultant. She travels extensively speaking in corporate and Christian venues worldwide. Lynette's professional pursuits took her from the world of higher education to the fast-track financial world of Manhattan's Wall Street. Her first published book, Climbing the Ladder in Stilettos, has received recognition from numerous sources including The Today Show, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, and more.
Ron and Lynette are co-founders of StopChildTraffickingNow.org, which ignited a grassroots awareness and fundraising movement reaching 60 cities, 80 college campuses, and joining with other non-profits equally committed to ending this horrendous crime.
Ron and Lynette have four grown sons: Nathan, Christian, Jordan and JohnLuke. Nathan graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Masters of Divinity with Honors. He is following in his father's footsteps and has remained in Scotland along with his wife, Ailsa, where he serves as pastor and youth minister. Christian is now living in Boulder, CO. He and Jordan both attended Oral Roberts University, while JohnLuke recently graduated from high school and is pursuing a music career.
Ron and Lynette divide their time between New York City and Raleigh, NC where they serve alongside two great leadership teams in their two churches, MSNY.org and KPIC.org
