CAMPUS MINISTRY

Ron Lewis' ministry began in 1982 by reaching out to students on the campus of his alma mater, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, a ministry which soon expanded to include the other college campuses in the Research Triangle Region. Over the years, many of the students he has pastored have become successful businessmen, athletes, doctors, judges, and elected officials. In the late 1980's, the ministry grew to a point where it included an annual short-term missions program and student conference called Campus Harvest (campusharvest.org).

The first Campus Harvest conference took place in 1991, and since then it has grown to attract 2,000 students annually from more than 300 college campuses across the United States and around the world. Its vision is to encourage, impart and equip the college and university students of this generation. In addition, Campus Harvest works diligently to serve local churches around the world, as they are strategic centers for student outreach.
