LOCAL CHURCH MINISTRY

Ron Lewis’ ministry on the campuses eventually grew into a regional church, King's Park International Church (kpic.org), located in Durham, North Carolina.  KPIC’s ministry reaches not only the students of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, but many families and individuals in the greater community there as well.  In 2000, the influence of KPIC increased as Pastor Ron pioneered the building of a $12 million, state-of-the-art worship complex with seating for 2,100 people.   

In the wake of the 9-11 tragedy in New York City, Ron Lewis' life and ministry took an unexpected turn. Heeding the call of God, Pastors Ron Lewis and Rice Broocks journeyed to New York City to help plant a new congregation called Morning Star New York (msny.org) in the heart of Times Square in Manhattan. 

MSNY now has two growing worship services, a significant outreach to the Russian-Jewish community in Brooklyn, and a new church plant in Philadelphia. Today, Ron serves in dual roles as Founding Pastor /Senior Minister of KPIC and as the Senior Pastor of MSNY. 

Both KPIC and MSNY are affiliated with Every Nation Churches and Ministries (everynation.org).  Every Nation is a worldwide spiritual family of over 400 churches across the globe that is devoted to church planting, campus ministry, and world missions. Lewis serves on Every Nation’s International Ministry Team and is a board member of Every Nation Ministries. 

Ron Lewis has a heart to see Godly men and women succeed in the marketplace and become agents of transformation in the city. Ron has built a great partnership with Ed Silvoso of Harvest Evangelism by working toward the kingdom transformation of the community and marketplace in North Carolina and New York City.
