Campus Harvest is a revival for college students in Durham, N.C. where thousands of young adults gather to praise God. In March 2007, over 1700 from almost 250 schools attended the event in King's Park International Church.
"The atmosphere is so encouraging because many times as a Christian college student, I feel like I am the only student on my campus trying to live for God in every aspect of my life," Columbia University junior Ashley Williams said. "But at Campus Harvest I get to see 2000 other college students just as on fire for God and it doesn't feel like I'm running alone."
The event included speakers and worship, including one extended worship night Williams said was the highlight of the conference.

"God inhabits the praises of His people," she said, "so we praised and He showed up."
For New York University freshman, Lydia Vellchkovski, this was her first Campus Harvest. She said the conference taught her to develop a habit of listening to God.
"It has been an adventure of hearing his voice, trusting and obeying ever since," she said. "Worship at Campus Harvest was an experience of truly entering the throne room of the Lord, bowing before him in humility and praising Him like never before."
This was the second Campus Harvest for Williams, and she said seeing so many college student fighting the same temptations allowed her to become stronger in God's word.
When the conference ended, Williams and Vellchkovski headed back to Manhattan to get into the hustle and bustle of New York City, and college life. Vellchovski said she expected to experience "amazing post-Christian conference syndrome."
"You know what I mean, the valley that you slump into after a great spiritual high during a retreat," she said. "This conference was different, though, for it started a fire in my walk with the Lord that has yet to extinguish. As a matter of fact, the flame has only gotten stronger since Campus Harvest because Campus Harvest was not just about the music and the teachings, but about the Spirit of God actively working in our lives."
